THE STUDEBAKER HISTORY
Is a short one, and a sad one at that, but inside it's founder Clement Studebaker,
you'll find a meticulously crafted history of the early automobiles.
Studebaker began his business as a builder of covered wagons, and had featured cars that, for countless Americans, truly defined driving.
1921 they were ranked the fourth numbered automaker in the nation.
1933 they were bankrupt, but did make a come back in the business world.
1937 was the last year for the Dictator nameplate, because with Hitler, and Mussolini gathering power in Europe, 'Dictator' became politically incorrect,
and so the name was dropped.
